JLT Sponsors Flat Racing At Newbury

Risk specialists Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc (JLT) is the latest big race sponsor to be announced at Newbury Racecourse.  From May 2011, Newbury’s showcase Flat racing event will be titled the JLT Lockinge Stakes, for a minimum of three years.

Stephen Higgins, Managing Director of Newbury Racecourse, said “JLT will be only the second title sponsor of the Lockinge, and we are especially delighted that this reflects our ambitions to attract new, non-industry sponsors to Newbury.  We believe that working with JLT will be to our mutual benefit”
