Jockey Club Is First Founding Partner Of Leaders In Racing

The Jockey Club has agreed to become a founding parnter of Leaders in Racing, a new conference covering the international business of horseracing which will take place in London on October 6th 2011.  The conference was unveiled recently after a period of consultation with the global horseracing industry and its stakeholders. The partnership forms part of The Jockey Club’s strategy to promote itself beyond its traditional borders, particularly to potential commercial partners and media who will be at the event.

Leaders in Racing will take place within the Leaders Sports Summit, which also hosts conferences for Football, Sponsorship, Digital Sport and Performance, with networking opportunities between each. The agenda will cover all the major challenges facing the sport and will welcome governing authorities, broadcasters, racecourses, betting operators, owners, jockeys, sponsors, government representatives and experts from other sports. More than 1,000 delegates are expected to attend.
