Limelight Sports’ Race The World Agrees Partnerships With Wilier Triestina and Schwalbe

Race the World, the first fully supported round the world cycling race for amateurs, has secured bike manufacturer and official bike supplier Wilier Triestina to produce a bike with exclusive and unique specifications for its participants. The RTW002, coming in a bespoke Race the World livery, is designed to cope with the varied roads and terrain the race will cover.

Global tyre manufacturer Schwalbe will be the official tyre partner. As the race will be covering a number of different road types and surface conditions, Schwalbe will allow riders to have access to different tyres during the race. 

Race the World is a global race which gives both male and female amateur athletes the opportunity to take part in a once in a lifetime challenge by becoming members of cycling teams that will compete over 5 legs in 4 continents over a 4 month period. 

Race the World is organised by mass participation sports agency Limelight Sports which has enjoyed a successful period in recent years capitalising on the increasing popularity in mass participation sporting events.
