New Apppointments At Octagon

Octagon has made two new new additions to its team, Alice Christie as Account Director and James Knott as Senior Account Manager.

Speaking about the appointments, Jeff Ehrenkranz, Managing Director Europe, Middle East & India said; “2015 is another big year for Octagon; you will see exciting activations from our clients around the UCL, Wimbledon, The Open and the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Both Alice and James bring extensive industry experience having worked on 2014 FIFA World Cup and will be an invaluable addition to the team.”

Alice joins Octagon from seven years at event and hospitality agency RPMC, working with major international brands including AB InBev, adidas, BT and Oakley. She brings a wealth of experience in managing large-scale events and the guest experience across VIP, client, consumer and incentive programs for global brands.

Alice was responsible for AB InBev’s hospitality programme during the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ Brazil, based at the Budweiser Hotel at Copacabana Beach and was fundamental in the delivery of BT’s London 2012 hospitality programme.

Formerly of Ogilvy & Mather Dubai, James Knott brings two and a half years’ experience overseeing Coca-Cola’s sports portfolio, and coordinating teams across the MENA region for 2014 FIFA World Cup™ sponsors, Hyundai and Continental.

During his time in the UAE, James delivered Coca-Cola’s title sponsorship of FIFA, the planning and implementation of the World Cup Trophy Tour in the Middle East, and Coca-Coca’s youth football tournament; COPA Coca-Cola. Prior to this, James was at Lexis Sport, London, working across Barclays title sponsorship of the Premier League and DHL's partnership with Manchester United.
