The European Sponsorship Association (ESA) will be asking the question: Is official dead? at its Sponsorship Summit on Thursday November 15th.
The theme of The Summit focuses on whether the traditional industry model - the official relationship between a rights holder and a sponsor - has to now change in order to meet the needs and demands of a modern audience.
Karen Earl, ESA Chairman, commented “Our industry has changed dramatically over the past few years and The Summit gives us a chance to address this change, take a step back and ask the question about whether the traditional paradigm that we’re all used to is still fit for purpose”.
The Summit will feature keynote speakers, debates and four panel sessions whereby some of the leading names within sponsorship and marketing, from all areas of the sponsorship mix including the arts, music, sport and entertainment, will discuss just how modern sponsorship activities relate to the modern consumer.
