Pizza chain, Papa John’s, are to become the Official Pizza Partner of Newcastle United for the rest of the season. The partnership will see Papa John’s, which has over 200 stores across the country and six in the North East, create an exclusive offer for Newcastle United fans “Score twice half price” - half price pizzas every time Newcastle score twice in a match.
The deal which was sourced and negotiated by sports marketing agency SportQuake, sees the pizza brand add to its sports sponsorship portfolio after becoming the Official Pizza Partner of the Football League at the start of the 2013/14 season.

The fans play a big part in our performances at home and on the road and it’s great that Papa John’s have shown their appreciation for the support they give our players.”
Andrew Gallagher, Papa John’s marketing director, said: “Newcastle United is one of the giants of English football and once we finally got the chance to put pen to paper we knew the best way to kick off our relationship – give the supporters fantastic pizzas and deals.”
All supporters need to do is sign up to Papa Rewards at www.papajohns.co.uk and select Newcastle United. For the rest of the season whenever Newcastle score twice in a game, Papa John’s will send fans an offer code to receive 50% off pizzas – which can be ordered from any store in the UK. The offer will be valid online only and from when the second goal is scored until the end of the next day.
