Sheffield United And Saudi Brand MBUZZ Sign Landmark Deal

Sheffield United has a new sponsor - MBUZZ,  the Saudi technology, media and telecoms group. 

The deal was brokered by sports marketing group Sports Revolution. This is one of the first deals brokered by the newly formed Sports Revolution Arabia, based in Dubai in order to serve the Arab World. Its chief executive Martin Copus said: "The MBUZZ sponsorship is further evidence of the fresh thinking coming out of this part of the world, and the truly global nature of sport at all levels."

Referencing Prince Abdullah Al Saud's co-ownership of the Club, Chairman Mr Nasser Al Sayari said: "Sheffield United's recent resurgence in the league and exciting cup run has not gone unnoticed in Riyadh - where football is the country's number one passion, and English football especially. We hope our involvement will contribute in some way towards the Club's continuing success and its return to former glories."
