Wasps Expands Two Circles Role To Drive Growth

Two Circles, the data-driven sports agency, has extended its relationship with Aviva Premiership club Wasps with the aim of helping it achieve its goal of re-establishing Wasps as one of the major clubs in Europe.

Wasps has recently relocated to Coventry and the Ricoh Arena, where the team plans to build a sustainable business and grow the fan-base. Two Circles will have an expanded remit to provide insight across all of the club’s interests including match day, hospitality, conference and event facilities at the Ricoh Arena.

The move to the Ricoh Arena has seen average attendances treble, with over 170,000 tickets sold, and the 2014/15 season culminating in a sell-out crowd of over 32,000 against Leicester Tigers.

Fiona Breeden, Lead Consultant at Two Circles, said: “This has been an extremely exciting project for us. The opportunities and challenges for Wasps are increasingly extending beyond match day revenue and allow them to focus on new areas of business within the broader stadium offer. It is a great example of what forward thinking sports teams are doing to increase their business interests and turnover for long-term sustainability and success.”
